Dr. Jameson Davis was raised in a family where dentistry was a calling, not just a profession. His father practices as a periodontist, his brother as a dentist in Cheyenne, and his older sister as a dental hygienist. This upbringing gave him a unique perspective on the impact dental care has on patients’ lives and the importance of the relationships built between dentists and the people they serve. It’s this foundation that drives his patient-centered approach at Irmo Dentistry.

After spending most of his childhood in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dr. Davis moved to Boise, Idaho, where he graduated from high school before pursuing his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder. There, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish while excelling both academically and athletically as a placekicker for the Colorado football team. His dedication to excellence earned him First Team Big 12 Academic All-Conference Honors, which was a testament to his ability to balance rigorous academic demands with athletic commitments.

Education and Professional Development

Dr. Davis’s path to dentistry included comprehensive advanced training. He completed his Master of Science in Oral Biology at Creighton University in 2016, diving deep into the scientific foundations of oral health. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2021, equipping him with the clinical expertise to provide exceptional care across all aspects of general and pediatric dentistry.

Building a Practice Rooted in Community Care

Dr. Davis brings extensive experience in both general and pediatric dentistry to Irmo Dentistry. Before expanding into comprehensive general dentistry services, he successfully established and operated Irmo Kids Dental, where his patient-centered approach earned the practice an impressive 543 five-star reviews. This foundation reflects his commitment to creating positive dental experiences and building lasting relationships with patients and families throughout the Irmo community.

His approach to dentistry centers on honest communication, quality treatment, and genuine concern for each patient’s unique needs. Dr. Davis believes that exceptional dental care isn’t just about technical skill, but about taking the time to listen, explain procedures thoroughly, and ensuring patients feel confident and comfortable with their care decisions. Now practicing in South Carolina, Dr. Davis has found a new home for his growing family while staying connected to the close-knit community values he grew up with in Wyoming. He and his wife, Keliane, have been married for 15 years and are proud parents to their two children, Kellan and Emma. When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Davis enjoys spending quality time with his family and staying involved in the local Irmo community.
